About Lisa Ciesniewski
Lisa grew up in La Canada, California. As a horse crazed child she spent most of her days at the barn riding and hanging with horses. Fortunate to live in an area with access to top hunter/jumpers trainers and quality rated show she rode and competed under the tutelage of Susan Holden, DiAnn Langer and Randy Durand. In 1992 Lisa received the LAHSA Sportsmanship of the Year Award, and in 1998 she won the California State Medal Finals aboard Incognito, owned by Mary Luck.
Turning in 1999 to focus on college Lisa attended the University of San Diego and began working for Mike and Christa Endicott and their Pegasus Show Stables, Inc., as an Assistant Trainer and Financial Manager. After graduating in May of 2001 with a BBA in Business Administration with a marketing and entrepreneurial emphasis, Lisa spent six months traveling around the southern-hemisphere.
Since then Lisa has co-founded a high-end computer company, operated Exuis Sales: an equine sales service, has catch ridden for numerous trainers on the west coast, and developed a web/media design firm. Currently she owns and operates Dark Horse Farms, an equine training stables specializing in the development of Show Jumpers and Derby Hunters, and HayNet Creative, a marketing & design company based in the horse industry.
